Apparent consumption = production imports - exports
(1) As they are classified under the same NCM (Mercosur Common Nomenclature), exports and imports of POY and smooth nylon yarns are added in their entirety, which may cause a small difference in the calculation of apparent consumption of this fiber.
(2)Spinning and/or transforming capacity.
(3) Part of imports of high tenacity nylon threads are used in the production of high tenacity meshes in Brazil. In order to avoid double counting, imports of thread corresponding to the manufacture of the respective mentioned screens were disregarded in the calculation of apparent consumption.
(4) Importation of POY polyester filament was disregarded so that there would be no double counting in the calculation of apparent consumption of polyester textile filament.
